Anderson speaks to Christians about the importance of knowing who they really are in his book, Our New Identity. He walks the reader through an understanding of who God is and what it means to have “new life” as a child of God. Each of the six sessions has five lessons which make it conducive for a session a week study.
Each lesson references a short scripture before a two to three page overview of what he wants to reader to take away. At the end of each lesson are several questions for the reader to integrate how what they read applies to real life. This six session study works equally well for individuals as it does for groups.
I’m somewhat biased because I have been a fan of Anderson’s books for a while. He knows scripture and can present it clearly to anyone. Our New Identity offers a lot of encouragement for Christians who are eager to live out their identity as a child of God. Although this book is presented as part of a series, it can be read independently without missing anything.
