I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, written by the CEO of Zappos. I thought it might be an egotistical story or a boring 'how-to-run-a-business' book.
It definitely was neither. I finished this book in two nights because it read like a novel. Hsieh is amazingly transparent, funny, generous and smart. He tells the story of the highs and lows of getting Zappos started and he clearly thinks a lot of his employees and gives them credit for the successes.
Two big takeaways for me?
1) Tony Hsieh is a rockstar.
2) I would almost move to Vegas just to work for him.
