Spark by Jason Jaggard

Do you ever stop and ask if your actions have a positive impact on the world? Does even thinking about this feel overwhelming?  In Spark, Jason Jaggard helps the reader walk through these questions.  He wants everyone to understand their God placed potential and put it into practice.

The overall theme of the book is about taking risks and to start taking them now.  Doing so helps you find your passions and can lead to big changes in your life.  Awareness isn’t enough - we need to engage and not simply be reactive.

But he doesn’t only talk about risks for yourself but as ways to benefit your community.  Be intentional about finding ways to help others rather than simply waiting for opportunities to find you.

The book was put out by a Christian publisher, so I was surprised to see a few new age references.  However, since it’s not heavy on theology, it will appeal to people who are still finding their way in their faith.

If you tend to live a reactive life, this book may provide the motivation to explore something new and enjoy the journey along the way.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
